glance,

 A loss of gravity.

No stars, no planets

just you, just me,

The kiss—

Gentle and sweet,

to knock you off your  feet 

a spark, a fuse,

A kind interlude 

That unbuttons the soul 

And skates on the  ice of loss control 

Fireworks bloom behind closed eyes,

petals of longing unfurling inside 

each kiss peels away

the painted mask I wore for the world today

In this tender blaze,

unhidden caught  in daze

 two souls, intertwined,

Locked in love with the Divine

 

Our hearts dancing in delight 

How can this feel so right? 

We kissed

and remembered how

love once felt.
